Summer is here! It’s time to get your bike and hit the road. However, did you know that motorcycles cause more deaths in a crash than vehicles? <\/span>More than 50000 riders<\/span><\/a> in the U.S die annually due to motorcycle crashes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although riding is fun, and some accidents may be inevitable, it doesn’t hurt to take a few precautionary steps before hitting the road. Here are a few tips for riding safely this summer.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Inspect your Bike<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You probably are hydrated, fueled, and probably have the essential gear, but is your bike fit to ride? Some of the important checks to perform should be before you ignite your bike. A faulty bike may not get you far without breaking down or, worse still, getting pulled over by a cop.<\/span><\/p>\n

    What’s better? You can perform these checks by visually inspecting all parts of the bike. Ensure the bike has enough tire pressure and a functional braking system. Other parts to inspect are:<\/span><\/p>\n
